Fitness + Movement

Movement that supports your body through every season of life.

I’m Angie Hartman, NBC-HWC, a health and wellness coach, functional nutrition practitioner, yoga teacher, and fitness professional with more than a decade of experience helping women build strength, confidence, and sustainable movement habits.

My approach to fitness has evolved over the years. I no longer believe that more exercise is always better. Instead, I focus on helping women find movement that supports their energy, metabolism, hormones, strength, stress levels, and stage of life.

Whether that means strength training, barre, yoga, walking, or adjusting the intensity of your workouts, movement should work with your body—not against it.

My Approach to Movement

As women's bodies change, our approach to exercise may need to change too.

I incorporate movement as one part of a larger wellness picture that includes nutrition, recovery, sleep, stress management, metabolic health, and hormone health.

My approach emphasizes:

  • Building and maintaining lean muscle

  • Strength and resistance training

  • Supporting healthy body composition

  • Walking and daily movement

  • Yoga, mobility, and flexibility

  • Appropriate cardiovascular training

  • Recovery and stress management

  • Sustainable exercise habits you can actually maintain

The goal isn't perfection or punishing workouts. It's creating a movement routine that supports how you want to feel, function, and age.

My Fitness Background

I've been teaching fitness and movement since 2013, with experience in group fitness, personal training, barre, yoga, strength training, HIIT, and virtual instruction.

Over the years, I've worked with women across many stages of life—from pregnancy and postpartum through perimenopause and beyond.

My fitness training includes:

ACE Certified Personal Trainer
AFAA Group Fitness Certification
Barre Instructor Certification
RYT-200 Yoga Teacher

My broader education in health and nutrition allows me to look at movement as one piece of the whole-person health picture rather than as a stand-alone solution.
