My Approach to Nutrition

Nutrition should be personalized—not based on the latest diet trend.

There is no single way of eating that works for every person. Our nutritional needs are influenced by our health history, lifestyle, activity level, life stage, symptoms, preferences, and goals.

My approach focuses on helping women build a sustainable way of eating that supports energy, metabolic health, hormones, digestion, healthy aging, and overall well-being—without unnecessary restriction.

I emphasize nutrient-dense whole foods, adequate protein, fiber-rich carbohydrates, healthy fats, colorful plant foods, and meals that support stable energy and blood sugar.

But nutrition isn't about eating “perfectly.” It's about understanding what your body needs and creating habits that are realistic enough to maintain.

Food should support your life—not control it.

My philosophy combines evidence-based nutrition with a practical, individualized approach. Depending on your needs, that may mean adjusting meal composition, protein or fiber intake, meal timing, food variety, or other nutrition and lifestyle factors.

For women experiencing concerns related to hormones, fertility, digestive health, perimenopause, or metabolic health, I take a more comprehensive approach through my Functional Nutrition Services.
