Hi, I’m Angie Hartman — Board-Certified Health Coach, fitness educator, and passionate advocate for women’s wellness and hormone health.

My journey into holistic health didn’t begin in a classroom. It began in my own body — through years of confusing symptoms, unanswered questions, and a deep desire to feel like me again.

In my late teens and early twenties, I spent nearly a decade on birth control, trying to manage mood swings, brain fog, and painful hormonal acne. I eventually came off the pill cold turkey because I couldn’t ignore the mental and emotional toll it was taking on me. The side effects were intense — moodiness, depression, bloating, and severe cramping. Looking back, I now realize I likely had undiagnosed PCOS or endometriosis.

Frustrated with the conventional path, I started to shift my lifestyle — I changed my diet, implemented a strategic fitness routine, and began releasing emotional trauma I didn’t even know I was carrying. That emotional work was a turning point. I lost 10 pounds, regulated my cycle (after years of irregularity), and slowly began to reconnect with my body.

Things finally started to feel balanced — until after my first pregnancy, when I experienced a full-body outbreak of psoriasis, dermatitis, and unexplained fatigue. That same year, I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s thyroiditis. The diagnosis was both a shock and a relief: it gave me a name for what I had been feeling and a direction to heal.

I dove deep into root-cause healing — balancing cortisol through yoga and meditation, restoring gut health, and continuing to study nutrition and detoxification. At 39, I became pregnant again and had a healthy pregnancy, even during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

But the years that followed brought immense heartbreak. From age 41 to 44, I experienced five miscarriages — including failed IVF cycles and abnormal embryos — all while dealing with undiagnosed SIBO, parasites, and mycotoxin exposure after a home renovation. Each loss was devastating, but it also became a catalyst for deeper healing. I began trauma therapy, leaned into my faith, and prioritized both mental and physical detoxification.

Today, I feel more grounded, more alive, and more passionate than ever about helping women reclaim their health.

I became a National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) in 2020 and founded Angie Renee Wellness to walk alongside women in midlife who are navigating the same frustrating symptoms I once faced — fatigue, bloating, anxiety, poor sleep, and hormonal chaos.

I specialize in:

  • Hormone balance & thyroid health (especially Hashimoto’s)

  • Gut healing (IBS, SIBO, candida, parasites, mycotoxins)

  • Detoxification and metabolism

  • Women’s health through perimenopause and beyond

I also hold certifications in fitness, yoga, and barre and bring a movement-based lens to healing that honors the mind-body connection.
